Spine Society-Delhi Chapter was a brain child of Prof. Arvind Jayaswal, Dr Shankar Acharya and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. From an afternoon meeting in a lecture hall in AIIMS back in 2000, it has now matured into a full fledged registered association with more than 100 active members.

The society has to its credit the organization of prestigious national and international spine events such as Scoliosis Research Society, Regional Meet 2008, ICS 2008 etc.

The aim of the society is to become an interactive platform for information exchange, research and collaborative work. The society also aims to promote and practice safe spine surgery through continuous education and training programs.
